GCPS REACH Scholar Signing Ceremony

Gwinnett County Public Schools Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks and his team welcomed Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal to celebrate, recognize and charge middle school students with academic success.  Georgia REACH Scholar program allocates $10,000 scholarship to student providing GPA and other criteria are met.  Additionally, Georgia colleges and universities have agreed to match that $10,000 scholarship giving these students a total of $20,000 towards their education.  Middle school clusters represented were South Gwinnett, Shiloh, Central, Berkmar and Meadowcreek.
